Michelle Obama's Jewelry style

2008 Emmy Awards

What is worn on the red carpet at the Emmy's can range from the ridiculous to the inspiring. Celebrities use the occasion, and all of the attention, to try to court the fickle favor of fashion editors. This year's Emmy Awards, which took place on Sunday, September 21, were no exception and the stars of television wore their latest and best.

The red carpet for the 60th Emmy Awards was full of bright colors and sweeping gowns.I noticed a lot of dangle earrings and silver hoop earrings, and of course some gorgeous gemstones necklaces.

Celebrity's selections were tasteful, often including cocktail rings, sexy necklaces, and larger cuff bracelets.

What really grabbed my attention were the ladies dressed in black. Set in contrast to the red carpet. Ladies in gorgeous charm earrings were easy to spot and looking gorgeous!


With a sweeping over the shoulder dress accented with black onyx stud earrings, She accessorized her form fitting black gowns with simple sparkling Tennis bracelets.

The heart throbbing Black Onyx Pendant pieces went well with her delicate white and black dress, adding detail of their own.

Cannes Flim Festival 2008

The 2008 Cannes Film Festival which occured in Southern France shows all the heavy hitters of the film industry making their appearances.

The event gave a great way to see an array of fashion from all over the world.

From chic and classy to the most gorgeous, the Cannes Festival has it all!

Among the fabulous were Natalie Portman,Angelina Jolie and Cate Blanchett. All wearing exquisite dresses and flashy jewelry!
You gotta love the stars and their accessories, though! Cate Blanchett’s stunning circle crop earrings can easily be found with cubic zirconia stones.
Eva Longoria was flashing some bling on her fingers at the festival’s opening too! Now I know you can easily get the same effect with a simple silver ring. Oh! And how could you miss Mischa’s gorgeous sapphire drop necklace?

At last, i could say that it was a great start to a glamorous event. I’m excited to see what else will pop up during the rest of the festival. I hope to see some more great fashions and possibly some unique silver jewelry.
