Vancouver Fashion Week-Opening Gala or Jewelry Designer Meet and Greet

In the last post I had mentioned the Vancouver Fashion Week. Do you remember. Well the Vancouver Fashion Week began this Tuesday and it will end tomorrow. The Vancouver Fashion Week began with the Fashion show featuring the latest winter wear on Tuesday, the 24th of March. On Wednesday, 25th March, the Opening Gala/Jewelry Designer Meet and Greet event was held. On 26th the fashion show for the Canadian/local designs, hair and make-up competitions and a Music Walks by Aliqua was held. Yesterday the fashion show for some eco-friendly designs and a fashion show named A Night in Shanghai was organized. Today's fashion show featured International/contemporary/ready-to-wear clothes. Tomorrow being the last day of the event the designs of the street wear wardrobe will be shown, followed by the closing gala.
Out of these all events, the event of our interest that took place was the Opening Gala/Jewelry Designer Meet and Greet. The doors for this glamorous event opened at 7:00 PM. About 15 Jewelry and 20 Apparel Designers had taken part in the event. It was really an jaw dropping experience when a model glittered in the fabulos and beautiful pieces, that were incomparable even among themselves. Each piece of Jewelry was remarkable. Barrie Edwards, Giosi Lammirato, Morgan Mallett, Susie Kellof, Tess Klein, Joye MacPherson, Jules Frkovich, Justine Brooks, Heidi George, Kerianne Taves, Penny Gleave, Emma Guardamagna, Christine Chen, Michael Leung, Sunny Moon and Gina Coates.
